A Chain Map is half a day of process mapping on site. You get a written two page map of your seven step chain, supplier offer to invoice and payment, every point where the same fact is keyed twice marked, the one link to fix, a countersigned baseline and a fixed pilot quote.

£750 + VAT. That covers half a day at your site with the owner, the person who runs the link and whoever bills, the written two page map, a baseline from your own data countersigned by both sides, and a fixed pilot quote. The full £750 is credited against the pilot if you go ahead.

Because we quote it in writing after the map, not on a call or a web page. The pilot is a fixed price. Once your system and the access route are confirmed, your Chain Map states it, with the list price and any founding price printed side by side. Your £750 comes off that price in full.

Keyed twice, also called double entry of data or re-keying, means the same fact, a quantity, a price, a date or a part number, is typed by a person into two places: a delivery ticket and the invoice, a phone order and the ERP, a supplier invoice and the purchase order, anywhere in your purchase to pay or order to cash chain. Each point costs minutes and creates the differences that become credits and disputes. We count them.

No. The pilot is built inside the system you already run, using its API, its database or a scheduled import, so a three-way match or a same-day invoice runs inside your ERP rather than beside it. At the Chain Map we confirm in writing which route your system allows and who pays any vendor fee. If your vendor will not allow access, we say so and decline the pilot.

The automation pilot runs six weeks for one link, at one site, in one system. Weeks one and two produce a signed design with the exception rules written down. Weeks three to five are the build in a test copy of your system, your staging or test company. Week six is go-live at the site and training for up to five staff, followed by 30 days of fixes.

The number on your countersigned baseline sheet, taken again the same way at week six. Half the pilot fee is paid at kick-off. The other half is due only when that number moves within 30 days of go-live. If it has not, we work 30 more days at no charge. If it still has not moved, the second half is waived.

Yes. After the design is signed off at the end of week two you can stop. You owe only the kick-off invoice and you keep the map and the baseline. There is no lock-in after go-live either: support is a separate monthly retainer you can decline.

You do. Everything built inside your ERP, hire or trade system during the pilot is yours from the day it is delivered, and nothing stops working if you end the relationship. Our liability is capped at the fees you have paid.

Six things, all from your own data: days from the trigger event to the invoice or credit, median and 90th percentile; points where a fact is keyed twice; share of documents handled by hand; credits, disputes and write-offs per month; stopwatch minutes on ten to twenty real transactions; and hours per week at the desk, signed by whoever does it.

The first company in each of our twelve sectors gets a founding price on the pilot in exchange for an anonymised case study. The study names the sector, size band, region, system type, what was built and the before and after numbers. No company name, logo, location, supplier or price appears, and you have ten working days to correct facts.

In wholesale and distribution, yes: supplier offer to purchase order, pick with photo and signature, invoice from delivery, keyed once, running today for one wholesale group. In the other eleven sectors we have drawn the chain and the method is the same, but we have not mapped or built it for a customer there yet, and we say so on the first call.
